SyrCOM is publishing Hugoye, an electornic journal dedicated to Syriac studies.
Start Date: January 1998.

This project aims at providing a Syriac language kit for Windows platforms. Meltho is intended to cover all Syriac scripts (Estrangelo, Serto and East Syriac). It will allow the automatic analysis of characters and ligatures. The software will be freeware and will be available for all users on the Internet on this site.
Start Date: March 1997.

Aims at producing an English-Syriac / Syriac-English dictionary by Sebastian P. Brock and George A. Kiraz. A draft of the English-Syriac part is already complete.
Start Date: Jan 1996.

Aims at producing an Arabic-Syriac dictionary.

The project aims at compiling an electronic encyclopaedia on Syriac studies which will be made available on the Internet. So far we have compiled 2000 entries on Syriac writers, saints, places, etc. in a draft form.
